WILDBILLDYCHE
A band director for the past 22 years, Bill has worked in the Sheldon, Kankakee, and Morris school districts. Bill joined the Music Department at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in 2006 and directs the Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, and Jazz Ensemble. His bands have performed for Chicago Sox games, Governor George Ryan’s Inauguration, and at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Orlando. He is a percussionist and enjoys playing drums for the Swing Kings Orchestra and Kankakee Valley Pit Orchestras. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Millikin University (Decatur) and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).
Bill was bitten by the radio bug in 1986 when he began working part-time for a station in his hometown of Beardstown, IL and has been dabbling in broadcasting ever since. He started working at The Valley in the summer of 2009 and enjoys playing the wide variety of music.
Bill lives in Bourbonnais with his wife, Diana, and has 2 children, Jonathan and Allison.
